I am Registered Dietitian Jayson Hunter and here is your Nutrition Quickie for today. Apply it and strengthen your nutritional foundation with multiple Quickies like this.
Fish is a great source of high-quality protein and also a healthy fat.
The best source of fish to eat is some type of cold-water fish such as Salmon.
The reason is because cold-water fish are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids and numerous other nutrients.
Numerous studies have shown that those who eat fish have a lower risk of various health conditions.
Scientists have also seen an improvement in many different blood markers.
Try to eat 2-3 servings of cold-water fish per week to boost omega-3 fat intake or consume a supplement such as Krill Oil if fish is just not for you.
Krill oil is a great alternative option to consuming all the benefits of Omega-3 fats such as EPA and DHA.
